Custom labels

This feature is exclusively available to Pro users, enabling admins to efficiently organize and differentiate their team members with custom labels.

Creating custom labels

To create a custom label, navigate to the Company account tab in the sidebar.

Within the Company Account page, find the Labels section, where you can both add and edit labels.

Customization options allow you to personalize the label's name and color, tailoring it to your specific preferences.

Important points to keep in mind regarding custom labels:

  • Custom labels are configured through Company settings and can only be created by Admins.

  • Admins can create labels that apply to the entire company, offering a consistent categorization system.

  • Custom labels can be edited or deleted at any time. However, when labels are in use and an attempt is made to delete them, a confirmation message will appear. This is to ensure that labels are removed from employees who have the selected label assigned to them.

  • By default, all Admins can view and use labels. However, Managers need permission from Admins to access and use labels. Admins can configure these permissions in the "Add or Edit Manager" window in the User Management β†’ Portal Users section.

  • Admins can grant Managers full access to all labels, restrict them to specific labels, or exclude them from using labels altogether. These permissions are set individually for each Manager, providing a high level of customization.

  • Admins or Managers with permissions can assign labels to their employees through the "Add or Edit Employee" window from User management β†’ Employees page by selecting any of the previously created labels from the dedicated dropdown.

  • When a label is added to an employee, it becomes visible throughout the entire Portal.

  • Employees can be assigned multiple labels, and each assigned label remains visible throughout the Portal.

  • Portal users can filter employees by labels on pages where filtering is applicable.

  • When filtering, users have the option to select multiple labels and can choose to view employees with all selected labels or those with at least one selected label.

Dedicated Comment and Praise pages

Comments page

Dedicated Comments page provides Portal users with comprehensive insights into employee feedback gathered through surveys. Users can now conveniently access and analyze comments from one centralized location, offering enhanced functionality for data interpretation.

Important points to keep in mind regarding dedicated comments page:

  • Portal users can seamlessly access employee comments through the dedicated Comments Page.

  • This feature not only allows users to view comments within the Teams page but also offers a distinct approach, aggregating all comments in a unified space.

  • Comment Filtering Options

    • Users can filter comments according to their specific needs, employing a range of criteria:

      • Teams and Employees - comments can be sorted by teams and individual employees

      • Labels - users have the option to filter comments by labels

      • Time Periods - time-based filtering can be achieved through the Calendar option, enabling the selection of specific dates or predefined periods such as surveys, months, or years

      • Keyword Search - a keyword search function is available, allowing users to enter a word in the search bar and retrieve all comments containing that keyword

  • Comment Export

    • Portal users can export comments directly from the Dedicated Comments Page. If a filter is applied, only the filtered comments will be downloaded.

    • Additionally, users can download comments from the Teams page, focusing on a selected team and survey by applying the relevant filter.

  • For Managers with limited team visibility, the Dedicated Comments Page ensures they only access comments from employees within their assigned teams. This ensures data privacy and adheres to user permissions.

Praises page

Dedicated Praises page simplifies the process of accessing and managing praises for Portal users, eliminating the need to switch profiles and offering advanced filtering capabilities. With the ability to export data and precise filtering options, this feature enhances your recognition analysis.

Important points to keep in mind regarding dedicated praises page:

  • Portal users can seamlessly access and manage praises from the dedicated Praises Page.

  • This feature eliminates the need to switch profiles between Portal user and Employee user. Portal users can conveniently access all logged praises without interruption.

  • Praise Filtering Options

    • Users can tailor their praise viewing experience by leveraging a variety of filters:

      • Teams and Employees - praises can be filtered by teams and individual employees

      • Labels - users have the option to filter praises by labels

      • Time Periods - time-based filtering is made easy through the Calendar option, enabling users to select specific dates or predefined periods such as days, weeks, months, or years

      • Keyword Search - a keyword search function is available, permitting users to input a word in the search bar and retrieve all praises containing that keyword

      • Employee Praise Interaction - users can choose to filter praises based on whether an employee was praised by someone, praised someone else, or both

  • Praise Export

    • Portal users have the capability to export praises directly from the Dedicated Praises Page. If a filter is applied, only the filtered praises will be downloaded.

  • For Managers with team-specific access restrictions, the Dedicated Praises Page ensures they only view praises from employees within their assigned teams or employees from their team who received praise. This compliance with user permissions guarantees data security and confidentiality.

Other Improvements

  • Enhanced Survey Management

Our latest updates bring improved survey management capabilities, optimizing the user experience for both employees and administrators. These enhancements are particularly useful in situations where companies do not receive weekly surveys.

When an employee attempts to access an expired survey, they will now be greeted with a dedicated message, rather than being redirected to the login screen. This message informs the employee that the survey has expired and can no longer be answered. It also provides a direct link to the login page for a seamless transition.

For companies following a periodic survey schedule, the expired survey will remain active until the new one is sent, ensuring a continuous and streamlined survey experience.

  • Advanced Employee Filtering

We have introduced new filtering options for our User Management β†’ Employees page, enhancing the functionality and consistency of the user experience between pages.

Portal users can now employ advanced filtering options to manage their employees more efficiently, similar to what is available on the Employees β†’ Details page.

  • Bulk Language Editing

Our platform now offers a time-saving feature that enables Portal users to perform bulk edits of their employees' language settings.

Portal users can efficiently update the language settings for multiple employees at once by accessing the Employees page in the User management dropdown.

  • Streamlined Comment Management

We have refined our comment management process to eliminate comments with limited content value, thereby enhancing the quality of data displayed in the Portal.

Comments that consist of only one character or special symbols, such as "/", or ".", will no longer be saved as comments in the application. This ensures that Portal users have access to valuable, meaningful comments, while trivial comments are omitted.

  • Hierarchy-Based Team Sorting

To enhance user experience and streamline team management, we have introduced team sorting by hierarchy in the Add/Edit Employee window.

Portal users will notice that teams are organized hierarchically, with parent teams displayed at the top, followed by their respective sub-teams. This arrangement provides a clearer representation of team structures.
